Author Guidelines

SUQ : Journal of Islamic Economics and Business (SJIEB)

General Guidelines

  1. Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration by other journals.
  2. Articles should be written in English or Bahasa Indonesia using academic language.
  3. Manuscripts must be relevant to the focus and scope of SUQ : Journal of Islamic Economics and Business (SJIEB).
  4. The manuscript should be typed in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx).
  5. Similarity or plagiarism level must not exceed the journal’s policy limit.

Manuscript Structure

The manuscript should consist of:

  1. Title
  2. Author’s Name and Affiliation
  3. Abstract and Keywords
  4. Introduction
  5. Literature Review
  6. Research Method
  7. Results and Discussion
  8. Conclusion
  9. References

Formatting Guidelines

  1. Paper size: A4
  2. Font: Times New Roman, size 12 pt
  3. Line spacing: 1.5
  4. Margins: 2.5 cm on all sides
  5. Manuscript length: 10–20 pages

Abstract and Keywords

  1. The abstract should contain 150–250 words.
  2. The abstract must briefly describe the background, objectives, methods, results, and conclusions.
  3. Provide 3–5 keywords related to the article topic.

Citation and References

  1. References should use recent and relevant sources.
  2. Citation and bibliography format should follow APA Style (7th Edition).
  3. Authors are encouraged to use reference management tools such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote.

Review and Publication Process

  1. All manuscripts will undergo a double-blind peer review process.
  2. Authors may be asked to revise the manuscript based on reviewers’ comments.
  3. The final decision of publication is determined by the editorial board.

Publication Ethics

  1. Authors are responsible for the originality and accuracy of the manuscript.
  2. Plagiarism, data fabrication, and unethical publication practices are strictly prohibited.
  3. Authors must disclose any conflict of interest related to the manuscript.
